Join Nardine Ralph on a festive adventure from the Golden Triangle of India to the Himalayan foothills.

We’ll immerse ourselves in the culture and spiritual heritage of India, witnessing the splendour of the Taj Mahal and locals celebrating the colourful festival of Holi. We then journey onwards to the Pink City of Jaipur, exploring majestic forts, artisans’ wares, textiles and gems and delight in a fort top dining experience. We culminate our journey at the foothills of the Himalayas in the yoga capital of the world – Rishikesh.

Along the way, we’ll explore bustling markets, holy shrines, textiles and orange-robed sadhus. This tour will include Yoga in the city of Rishikesh where we will discover a myriad of yogic experiences at the International Yoga Festival. We explore ancient traditions, temples and meditate in a sacred cave in the Ganges hills and participate in sacred fire ceremonies overlooking the Mother Ganga

Trip Notes

Day 1

Arrival: Delhi Indira Gandhi International Airport.
Upon arrival and once you have cleared customs, you will be personally met by our representative in the arrivals hall who will assist you to transfer from the airport and check into your hotel.

Day 2

Today we travel to Agra, the home of the Taj Mahal, one of the seven wonders of the world, as India celebrates the kaleidoscope of colours for the festival of Holi. Evening Yoga or Meditation and Welcome Dinner.

Day 3

Early sunrise visit of the magnificent Taj Mahal. Return to our hotel for breakfast, followed by our visit to the Agra Red Fort. We share Chai and visit local Artisans. Evening Yoga or Meditation.

Day 4

Today, we depart Agra as our journey continues onward to the Pink City of Jaipur. The rest of the afternoon is at leisure to explore Jaipur. Evening Yoga or Meditation on the Terrace.

Day 5

Morning Yoga or Meditation on the Terrace. After breakfast, our morning is at leisure to shop for hand-crafted textiles and gems local markets and bazaars. This afternoon we explore the Majestic Amber Fort and enjoy dinner at the former palace as the sun sets over Jaipur.

Day 6

This morning comes to life, with the colours and scents of the local Flower Market and last-minute shopping in Jaipur, before we board our flight to the holy city of Rishikesh.

Day 7

Morning Yoga or Meditation. Be immersed in the colour and vibrance in the City of Rishikesh on our orientation walking tour and to collect our 03 Day Event Tickets to the International Yoga Festival. The afternoon is at leisure to traverse the markets and bazaars.

Day 8

Day at Leisure to immerse in the festivities of International Yoga Week and optional evening Aarti on the Ganges in Rishikesh.

Day 9

Day at Leisure to immerse in the festivities of International Yoga Week and optional evening Aarti on the Ganges in Rishikesh.

Day 10

Enjoy the serenity of a Sacred Cave and Meditation on the banks of the River Ganga. Afternoon will be at leisure to explore Rishikesh. Enjoy Evening Yoga or Meditation.

Day 11

Day at Leisure to immerse in the festivities of International Yoga Week and optional evening Aarti on the Ganges in Rishikesh.

Day 12

Morning Yoga or Meditation, after breakfast we step back in time with the artwork and essence of the Beatles Ashram. The rest of the afternoon is at leisure, this evening we experience a Sacred Homa Fire Ceremony and Farewell Dinner.

Day 13

Our final day together, we return by fight to Delhi, including supper before boarding our international flight home.
