We immerse ourselves in the rich cultural tapestry of Udaipur as we wander through the vibrant old city bazaars, explore majestic palaces, and glide across the tranquil waters of Lake Pichola.
Our next step of the journey will take you back in time to the rural village of Narlai, where explore the local village and temples, search for leopards on our morning nature safari, stay in beautiful boutique heritage accommodation, and dine under the stars in an ancient stepwell.
We then continue to the Blue City of Jodhpur to explore its magnificent mountain fort, wander through heritage streets, enjoy textile and shawl shopping, and cook and dine with local women to learn their spicy secrets.
In Amritsar, feel the spiritual heartbeat of the Golden Temple with morning meditation, the moving evening Palki Sahib Ceremony, and the remarkable selfless service of the Langar Kitchens, along with moving visits to powerful landmarks that tell the story of India’s struggle for freedom.
Our final destination we journey through the mountains to Dharamshala and immerse ourselves in Tibetan culture, Monstaries & Temples, complemented by scenic Himalayan walks, and an inspiring visit to the Tibetan Children’s Village. Our journey culminates in a deeply restorative 4-day Yoga and Mindfulness Retreat personally facilitated by Sue Barlow.

Day 1
Arrival: Delhi International Airport.
Upon arrival and once you have cleared customs, you will be personally met by our representative in the arrivals area who will assist you to transfer from the airport and check into your hotel.
Day 2
This morning, we fly to Udaipur and check in to your 300-year-old lakeside haveli. Enjoy a serene sunset boat ride on Lake Pichola, attend the evening Aarti at Jagdish Temple, and gather for a special welcome dinner overlooking the lake.
Day 3
Begin with yoga and meditation before exploring Udaipur’s old city on a guided heritage walk through vibrant bazaars and intricate temples. Visit the majestic City Palace, Udaipur, one of Rajasthan’s most magnificent royal residences. Evening at leisure.
Day 4
This morning, we Travel into Rajasthan’s quiet countryside and arrive at Narlai, to our 17th Century heritage retreat nestled between granite hills. Enjoy time for rest or healing spa therapies. At sunset, climb to the hilltop Durga Temple for sacred evening prayers, absorbing expansive valley views and devotional chants.
Day 5
At dawn, explore the surrounding wilderness on a nature safari, grounding yourself in Rajasthan’s elemental beauty. Walk through the village, connecting with local life and ancient rhythms. Evening brings a magical candlelit dinner in Narlai’s historic stepwell — dining beneath the stars in a space once devoted to water, community, and ceremony.
Day 6
This morning, we travel to Jodhpur and check in at the former royal residence Heritage Hotel. This evening, share a cooking experience and dinner with local women, exchanging stories and traditions through food — an intimate cultural connection beyond sightseeing.
Day 7
Viisit the imposing Mehrangarh Fort, and Jaswant Thada, perched high above the Blue City. Descend on foot through its historic gates on our heritage walk before afternoon at leisure to explore local textiles and markets.
Day 8
Enjoy morning Yoga & Meditation, Fly to Amritsar and transfer to your hotel. Evening at leisure to relax before tomorrow’s profound cultural experiences.
Day 9
This morning, we begin with meditation at the sacred Golden Temple and witness the remarkable Langar kitchens serving thousands daily. Visit the moving Partition Museum and Jallianwala Bagh, stroll through the Old City, and return to the Golden Temple for the deeply spiritual Palki Sahib ceremony.
Day 10
Journey into the Himalayan foothills to Dharamshala and your Tibetan style boutique retreat home. In the evening, open your immersive Yoga & Mindfulness Retreat with intention-setting and guided practice.
Day 11
Morning yoga and meditation deepen your inner awareness. Visit the Norbulingka Institute, where Tibetan arts are lovingly preserved, and the tantric chanting monks of Gyuto Monastery. Evening retreat session and reflection.
Day 12
Continue guided retreat practices. Option to visit the Dalai Lama Temple and Namgyal Monastery, absorbing the peaceful atmosphere of McLeod Ganj. Time for journaling, contemplation, and integration.
Day 13
Early Morning Yoga session, before departing for our scenic half-day walk from Naddi Village to Dharamkot with breathtaking views of the Dhauladhar range. Visit the inspiring Tibetan Children’s Village, supporting Tibetan children in exile. Afternoon retreat session and dinner at the hotel.
Day 14
Conclude your Yoga and Mindfulness Retreat with a closing circle. Evening celebratory dinner at a Dharamshala Resort before returning to your hotel.
Day 15
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Delhi, carrying home unforgettable memories of Rajasthan’s royal heritage, Punjab’s spiritual devotion, and the serene Himalayan retreat experience.
Upon arrival in Delhi, we share a farewell lunch, before boarding your international flight home or onward journey.
