Join Sally Wilcox on an 12 nights / 13day adventure to Northern India witnessing the city lights of Mumbai, palaces and lakes of Udaipur the blue city of Jodhpur, the pink city Jaipur, forts, temples, textiles, gems, spice markets and holy cows! You’ll salute the sun by a pilgrim’s lake, watch a desert sunset culminating with sunrise at the majestic Taj Mahal, one of the seven wonders of the world.
Woven throughout this tour will be a yoga program personally facilitated by Sally Wilcox.
Note: The holy city of Pushkar is vegetarian and alcohol free.

Day 1: Tuesday 13th October
Arrival: Mumbai International Airport.
Upon arrival and once you have cleared customs, you will be personally met by our representative in the arrivals hall who will assist you to transfer from the airport and check into your hotel.
Day 2: Wednesday 14th October
Today we explore the sights of Mumbai, drive past Marine Drive, Chowpaty Beach, Hanging Gardens, Haji Ali. Visit Dhobi Ghat, the Dabbawalas and CST Train Station, followed by lunch, the Gateway of India and afternoon markets
Day 3: Thursday 15th October
Early morning yoga, breakfast then transfer for your flight to the lake city of Udaipur. Complete the day overlooking the city lights of Udaipur from your terrace dinner at Fatehgarh Palace.
Day 4: Friday 16th October
Early start guided walking tour through the markets and temples to the famous City Palace. Time for morning tea and explore the palace, lunch at own expense overlooking Lake Pichola followed by afternoon boat ride on the lake. This evening dinner will be on the Roof Top Terrace.
Day 5: Saturday 17th October
Morning Yoga, breakfast and we are on our way to the famous Jain Ranakpur Temples, followed by lunch at a heritage hotel. We continue the journey to the blue city of Jodhpur and the splendour of Mehrangarh Fort. Evening Free.
Day 6: Sunday 17th October
Morning Yoga, and this morning you will visit the majestic Mehrangarh Fort and Heritage walking tour of Blue City. Visit the local bazaar and market square, experience local spices, vegetables Indian sweets and the landmark Clock Tower. Proceed to a local Cafe for Lunch at own expense.
After Lunch board your Tuk-Tuk’s for a ride to your Coach, and this afternoon is fun filled shopping for India’s beautiful shawls and giftware
Day 7: Monday 19th October
Morning yoga, time at leisure and today we join a local family for lunch and a lesson in sari tying. Afternoon at leisure for local shopping or poolside.
Day 8: Tuesday 20th October
Today we start with yoga and continue the journey to the Holy City of Pushkar. Situated on the edge of the desert near Nag Pahar, the Snake Mountain, the town winds itself around the holy lake filled with bathing ghats and temples. Lunch is at our a heritage hotel and this afternoon we go on a walking tour through Pushkar ghats and visit the Bramha Temple evening Sacred Aarti.
Day 9: Wednesday 21st October
Following morning is Rooftop yoga, The rest of the day is at leisure to explore the markets and laneways of this sacred city.
Optional morning Music School or late afternoon Camel Ride are available, followed by a beautiful rooftop dinner overlooking the lake.
Day 10: Thursday 22nd October
We start our day with Rooftop yoga. Today we’ll travel to the Pink City of Jaipur and enjoy lunch. After lunch we will visit Anoki for shopping, a wonderful boutique with it foundations created in Jaipur, supporting Artisans in the region with beautiful block print and unique designs of clothing, scarves and home wares.
This evening is optional Bollywood Dancing
Day 11: Friday 23rd October
Today we start with laughing yoga and after breakfast the highlight is a visit to Amber Fort, a classic, romantic Rajasthani Fort built on the rugged hilltops of Amer. We then visit the City Palace, Hawa Mahal and lunch is at a beautiful heritage Haveli. The afternoon, we will have time for shopping for Gems and textiles to complete the day.
Day 12: Saturday 24th October
This morning we travel to Agra, lunch followed by our visit to the Red Fort for our first glimpses of the magnificent Taj Mahal. We complete the day visiting a local rug artisan family followed by yoga and farewell dinner.
Day 13: Sunday 25th October
Our tour culminates with an early sunrise visit of the magnificent Taj Mahal. Return for breakfast, morning at leisure to rest, check out and return to Delhi. Upon arrival we will have a light supper before departing for your international flight.
