Join Jacqui & Shimon on this Indian Odyssey adventure throughout Northern India.

We will immerse ourselves in the grandeur and cultural heritage of India, traversing the Old and New Cities of Delhi, dining in Heritage Havelis, and witnessing the splendour of the Taj Mahal at sunrise. We then journey onwards to the Pink City of Jaipur, exploring majestic forts, artisans’ wares, textiles and gems and delight in fort top dining experiences.

Our next stop takes us to the holy city of Pushkar and our heritage hotel overlooks the pilgrim’s lake. You will wander the bazaars, discovering treasures in this relaxed town and a sunset camel ride in the desert. The journey continues as we travel to the Blue City of Jodhpur, where we will explore the magnificent mountain fort, heritage walks, spice markets and delight in textile and shawl shopping. We will dine with a local family and experience a special evening concert at the RIFF International Music Festival in the magnificent Mehrangarh Fort.

Our final journey will take you back in time to the rural village of Narlai, where we will search for leopards in our morning safari, stay in beautiful boutique heritage accommodation and dine under the stars in an ancient stepwell.

We then return to New Delhi which culminates staying at a beautiful Heritage Boutique hotel for the Festival of Diwali and our farewell dinner.

Woven throughout this tour is a unique blend of yoga, meditation and mindfulness personally curated and facilitated by Jacqui & Shimon.

Trip Notes

Day 1

Arrival: Delhi Indira Gandhi International Airport.
Upon arrival and once you have cleared customs, you will be personally met by our representative in the arrivals hall who will assist you to transfer from the airport and check into your hotel.

Day 2

Your journey begins with a city tour to Old and New Delhi. Experience the thrill of a rickshaw ride through the traditional spice markets and bustling streets of Old Delhi. Dine at a 200-year-old Heritage Haveli and witness the spiritual devotion in a traditional Sikh Temple.

Day 3

This morning we travel to Agra, lunch followed by our visit to the Red Fort for our first glimpse of the magnificent Taj Mahal.

Day 4

Early sunrise visit of the magnificent Taj Mahal. Return for breakfast and time at leisure to explore Agra before our journey onwards to the Pink City of Jaipur.

Day 5

Early morning yoga, then explore the Majestic Amber Fort and shop for hand-crafted textiles and gems.

Day 6

Our journey continues to the holy city of Pushkar, were we wander eclectic local bazaars with cows and holy men, whilst overlooking the serene pilgrim’s lake.

Day 7

Morning yoga in Pushkar, before traversing the plains on our journey to the Blue City of Jodhpur. Afternoon at leisure and evening yoga or meditation to unwind.

Day 8

Morning yoga, then we explore the magnificent Mehrangarh Fort, take a heritage walk and explore spice markets. Enjoy an evening concert at the majestic Mehrangarh Fort.

Day 9

Morning yoga, then we experience the majesty of Jaswant Thada and delight in local textile and shawl shopping which Jodhpur is renowned for. Dine with a local family, experience home cooking, and share in their spicy secrets.

Day 10

Today we traverse further inland, were we step back in time to the rural village of Narlai. We visit a hilltop Temple witnessing the sunset over the valley followed by the sacred evening aarti.

Day 11

Experience the thrill of seeking out leopards on an early morning jeep adventure and experience the rural beauty and village life of Narlai. Afternoon yoga before we dine under the stars in a magnificent ancient stepwell.

Day 12

Today we travel back to Jodhpur for our return flight to New Delhi, which culminates our journey staying at a beautiful classical Boutique hotel and celebrate the festival of lights – Diwali and our farewell dinner.

Day 13

Our final day together, we enjoy morning yoga and time at leisure to enjoy the old-world charm, elegance and history of the iconic hotel before boarding our international flight home.
